2025-12-05

The four-day Marintec China 2025 concluded successfully in Shanghai on December 5. As a flagship event in the global maritime sector, this edition gathered nearly 2,000 exhibitors from over 20 countries, including shipbuilders, shipping companies, and maritime technology service providers. Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE") made a remarkable appearance, showcasing its achievements in clean energy equipment.

Led by Gao Wenbao, Vice President of CIMC ENRIC and General Manager of CIMC SOE, the company's team exhibited multiple new vessel types—including LPG/LEG/LNG carriers and LNG bunker vessels—along with core tank/fuel tank products and offshore oil & gas modules/skids. They engaged in discussions with domestic and international clients, partners, industry experts, and peers on green, low-carbon vessels and clean energy solutions.

At the CIMC SOE booth, a "star lineup" of new vessels and tanks was on display. This included the new 51,350m³ LPG/liquid ammonia carrier, various LNG bunker vessels (20,000m³ and 18,900m³ models), the 24,000m³ ethylene/ethane carrier, LCO₂ storage and transportation solutions, and several of the company's world-first projects. The exhibition of the full tank series clearly demonstrated CIMC SOE's leading position in the tank market: Type A/B/C tanks, diverse Type C tank designs for different vessel types, applications of new materials, and tanks for various alternative fuels to meet decarbonization needs. Among them, products like the self-developed LNG stackable twin-lobe fuel tank, Type B tank, and ammonia fuel tank attracted significant visitor attention.

On the first day of the exhibition, Li Ling, Vice Mayor of Nantong, and Cai Yi, Mayor of Qidong, specially visited the company's booth for an inspection. They spoke highly of CIMC SOE's innovative achievements in maritime equipment manufacturing. During the event, CIMC SOE was also invited to participate in the shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry promotion conferences held by the Nantong and Qidong municipal governments. The collaborative atmosphere, uniting government and enterprise efforts to explore the global market, significantly boosted the confidence of clients at the exhibition and across the global industry.

Furthermore, the CIMC SOE booth attracted visits from numerous industry leaders. In-depth discussions were held on future industry trends, clean energy applications, and industrial automation and intelligent upgrades. This fully reflected the company's commitment, as a clean energy equipment enterprise, to actively responding to international emission reduction goals.

CIMC SOE will continue to uphold the philosophy of sincere cooperation and mutual development with clients, providing high-quality products and services to customers worldwide. Through technological innovation, the company is dedicated to contributing to the shipping industry's transition from singular emission reduction to comprehensive low-carbon transformation, joining hands with global partners to build a sustainable maritime future.
