As CIMC Group celebrated the 43rd anniversary of its operation, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE") presented a sincere tribute with solid achievements. On the afternoon of September 22, the naming and delivery ceremony for two 80-ton Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels, S1099 and S1100, built by the company for Singaporean client Vallianz Shipbuilding & Engineering Pte. Ltd. (VSE), was held at the east wharf. Key figures witnessing this important moment included Ling Yong Wah, Executive Director & CEO of Vallianz; Lam Khee Chong, Chief Project Officer; Xie Baocheng, General Manager of Quantum; Liu Jia, Executive Director; Song Aimin, General Manager of ABS Central China Region; Zhou Lubing, Deputy General Manager of CIMC SOE; and Shen Lintao, Deputy General Manager of the Shipbuilding Business Division.

At the ceremony, Shen Lintao, Deputy General Manager of the Shipbuilding Business Division of CIMC SOE, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the company. He stated, "The delivery of S1099 and S1100 marks a significant achievement from the close collaboration between CIMC SOE and partners like Vallianz and Rawabi. We will continue to be driven by innovation and work hand-in-hand with global partners to promote a greener, smarter, and more efficient shipping industry."

Ling Yong Wah, Executive Director & CEO of Vallianz, said in his address, "The delivery of RAWABI 64 and RAWABI 70 is a testament to the foresight, determination, and professional collaboration of all parties involved. These vessels, combining high performance and sustainability, will significantly enhance our fleet capabilities and service offerings. We extend our sincere gratitude to CIMC SOE, Quantum, and other partners for their outstanding contributions and continued trust."

Ms. Liu Jia, the ships' sponsor, expressed, "We have witnessed the exceptional efforts and technical breakthroughs made by Vallianz and Nantong CIMC Sinopacific throughout the project. We wholeheartedly wish ‘RAWABI 64’ and ‘RAWABI 70’ smooth sailing, safety, and efficiency in all their future voyages. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with all parties to embrace new opportunities and achieve further success."

In a subsequent segment, accompanied by vigorous drumbeats, two majestic lions leaped before the ceremony stage. Four leaders jointly took up vermilion brushes to perform the traditional "dotting the eyes" ritual on the lions, symbolizing wishes for the two vessels' smooth and safe voyages ahead.

Following the eye-dotting, Ling Yong Wah used golden scissors to cut a rope. A vibrant, colorful smoke curtain erupted before the stage, resembling brilliant "ribbons" that symbolized the "colorful journey" from construction to delivery and the "bright prospects" for the vessels' future operations, offering the best wishes for the new ships.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, attending guests boarded the AHTS80T vessels to tour core areas such as the wheelhouse and the working deck. As the horn button in the wheelhouse was pressed, a long, powerful blast pierced the sky, symbolizing the formal commencement of the voyages for the two RAWABI vessels as they set sail towards broader horizons.

The vessels in this series are noted for their excellent performance and operational flexibility. Equipped with two bow thrusters, two full-rotation rudders, a secondary dynamic positioning system, and a digital monitoring network, they are capable of precise maneuvering in narrow waters or complex sea conditions. Their capabilities include primary external firefighting and oil spill cleanup operations, further enriching CIMC SOE's product portfolio and international cooperation experience.

The successful delivery of this project not only demonstrates CIMC SOE's capabilities in schedule control and resource coordination within shipbuilding but also serves as a tangible achievement honoring CIMC Day, paying tribute to the Group's 43-year dedication to industry and continuous pursuit of excellence. Moving forward, CIMC SOE will continue to uphold the enterprise spirit of "Self-improvement, Pursuit of Excellence", deepening its efforts in green energy equipment and offshore engineering to contribute to the high-quality development of the CIMC Group.
