From September 16 to 18, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE") jointly participated in the 2025 Nantong Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Industry Exhibition with CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC Raffles"). Centered on the theme "Developing Ocean-Specific New Quality Productivity and Building a World-Class Industrial Cluster," this exhibition served as a vital window and platform for the development of the shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry. The overall scale ranked among the top globally for professional shipbuilding and offshore engineering exhibitions, and first among industrial cluster-specific exhibitions. The event attracted leading domestic industry enterprises including COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, China Merchants Industry, Zhenhua Group, CIMC Group, and China State Shipbuilding Corporation, as well as more than 60 internationally renowned companies such as ABS, France's GTT, and Siemens, collectively creating an international, specialized, and high-end industry gathering.

The opening ceremony featured concentrated signing sessions for multiple key projects. CIMC SOE signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement with Yuchai Marine Power Co., Ltd. Both parties will deepen cooperation in the field of marine power system supporting supply, jointly promoting the synergistic development of the industrial chain.

After the opening ceremony, Wu Xinming, Secretary of the Nantong Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Tong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, toured the exhibition. Su Fei, the person in charge of the CIMC SOE booth, accompanied them and reported on the company's business, highlighting the 40,000 cubic meter LPG/liquid ammonia carrier. Mr. Su stated that this vessel represents a new generation of MGC carriers, marking a new breakthrough for CIMC SOE in the expansion of liquefied gas vessel types. The incorporated Type A tank technology also fills a gap in the company's product range for liquefied gas carriers with this tank type. He emphasized that with the increasing application of liquid ammonia in energy, agriculture, and other fields, market demand continues to rise. This 40,000 cubic meter vessel is designed specifically for the large-scale, efficient transportation needs of liquid ammonia and other liquefied gases, offering excellent economy and environmental performance. The leaders fully affirmed the innovative achievements and product quality demonstrated by CIMC and encouraged the enterprise to leverage its advantages, seize opportunities, and contribute more significantly to the high-quality development of the city.
