Recently, the final set (T163) of the 10-ship series of 7,500m³ stackable fuel tanks, built by Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd.(CIMC SOE) for Zhoushan Changhong International, was successfully loaded and shipped from the East Yard of CIMC SOE, marking the official completion of the construction task for this series of fuel tanks.
Hoisting of T163 project
The entire cycle of the 10-ship series of 7,500m³ stackable fuel tanks project, from initial design to delivery, presented significant challenges. As a pioneering project for CIMC SOE, the complex structure and high precision requirements of the stackable fuel tanks posed technical difficulties during the early stages. The project teams from Zhoushan Changhong International and CIMC SOE collaborated closely to ensure efficient progress. The successful delivery of this series not only achieved the cooperative goals of both parties but also fostered a strong sense of friendship and trust, laying a solid foundation for future deeper collaboration.
Loading of T163 project
With the successful completion of the 7,500m³ series project, the cooperation between the two parties has entered a new phase. Currently, two other series of fuel tank projects built by CIMC SOE for Zhoushan Changhong International—the 6,800m³ stackable series and the 9,450m³ stackable stainless steel series—have reached peak production. It is expected that both parties will continue to build on a foundation of open and efficient communication, further strengthening their collaborative ties through deep professional integration. This will enhance mutual trust and enable closer and more productive cooperation.
Shipping of T163 project
Moving forward, both parties will maintain effective communication to ensure the projects are delivered on time and with guaranteed quality. This effort will inject more impetus into reducing carbon emissions and promoting green development in the global shipping industry!
