On the afternoon of May 11, coinciding with Mother’s Day, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CIMC SOE”) joined hands with the Qidong Federation of Trade Unions to host a heartwarming parent-child event at the Workers’ Cultural Center. Over ten employee families gathered to enjoy an afternoon filled with love and gratitude through interactive games and creative crafts.
The event kicked off with the lively “Hug of Love” game. As music played, parents and children held hands to form a moving circle. When the host suddenly called out, “Form groups of six!”, laughter erupted as families quickly teamed up and embraced tightly—whether it was a child nestling into their mother’s arms or a young employee hugging their parent, the scene overflowed with warmth. The subsequent “Mom Praise Contest” added playful charm, with children eagerly raising their hands to declare, “My mom makes the best cupcakes!” or “My mom is beautiful!” Their adorable remarks drew continuous applause and cheers.
The “Pass the Flower” game added a unique touch. A warm yellow sign symbolizing gratitude was swiftly passed among families to the rhythm of music. When the music stopped, the family holding the sign spontaneously shared their “favorite thing to do with Mom.” A child chirped, “I love doing crafts with my mom!” while a young employee expressed heartfelt gratitude: “Thank you for all your sacrifices over the years.” Each sincere confession filled the room with tender emotion.
The much-anticipated “Flower Bouquet DIY” session infused the event with romance. Under the guidance of instructors, children transformed into little artisans, meticulously crafting colorful carnations and lily-of-the-valley bouquets using pipe cleaners. Mothers patiently assisted, discussing petal sizes, leaf lengths, and decorations with their kids.
The finale, the “Cupcake Baking Challenge”, drew eager crowds to the demonstration table. A baking instructor showcased techniques like frosting and fruit garnishing. Children unleashed their creativity, carefully designing cake shapes and tiptoeing to pipe decorations, while mothers became “baking assistants”, collaborating closely with their little ones. Young employees and their mothers debated cookie placements, jointly holding piping bags to create exclusive Mother’s Day treats. Through teamwork, unique cakes emerged, each a labor of love. Photos captured beaming faces smudged with frosting, while the air buzzed not just with sweetness but with the warmth of family bonds. The event concluded with joyful group photos, sealing the day with warmth and fulfillment.
This event not only provided precious bonding time for families but also embodied the theme of “gratitude in companionship”, weaving maternal love and childlike joy into the most beautiful holiday gift. Moving forward, CIMC SOE will continue to deepen its humanistic care initiatives, uniting teams through diverse heartwarming activities. By fostering a corporate home filled with warmth and belonging, the company aims to fuel both employee happiness and its own high-quality development with enduring vitality!
