2025-05-09

To thoroughly implement the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law and enhance awareness of occupational health protection among all employees, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") organized a series of themed promotional activities during the 23rd National Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law Awareness Week, focusing on "Caring for Workers' Mental Health."

Specialized Training to Strengthen Foundations, Comprehensive Knowledge Dissemination

The company recently conducted occupational health training sessions, adopting a hybrid online and offline format to engage occupational health management personnel from all departments and affiliated labor service companies. The training focused on the latest requirements of the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law, analyzing real-world cases to explain prevention and control measures for common occupational hazards such as dust and noise. After the training, participants relayed key knowledge to frontline workers through departmental meetings and daily pre-shift briefings, ensuring occupational health awareness permeated all levels—from management to grassroots employees—significantly boosting protective awareness and capabilities across the workforce.

Multi-Dimensional Campaigns Create Awareness, Leaving No Gaps in Knowledge

During the campaign, the company innovatively adopted an "online + offline" approach to comprehensively promote occupational health knowledge. Themed posters were displayed in key areas such as docks, workshops, and cafeterias, while illustrated pamphlets were distributed to employees. Educational videos on occupational hazards were looped on electronic screens. Simultaneously, the company’s WeChat platform regularly shared policy interpretations of the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law and protective knowledge, creating an all-encompassing promotional network that ensured occupational health information was "visible at a glance, easy to learn, and accessible everywhere."

Strengthened Occupational Health Inspections, Building a Protective Barrier

The Safety and Environmental Protection Department swiftly initiated a specialized occupational health inspection, thoroughly examining the operational status of workplace hygiene facilities and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) across production sites. Inspectors visited various work areas to assess ventilation and dust removal systems, test concentrations of occupational hazards, and verify compliance with PPE protocols. Immediate corrective actions were taken for identified issues to ensure effective facility operations and proper implementation of protective measures, safeguarding employees' occupational health rights.

Interactive Engagement Boosts Awareness, Extending Care to the Frontline

To further strengthen employees' occupational health awareness, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department launched interactive campaigns, forming on-site Q&A teams comprising department experts, labor service company staff, and safety officers from production units. These teams visited workshops and operational sites to engage employees with tailored questions on workplace hazards like dust, noise, and chemical exposure, as well as PPE usage and relevant legal provisions.

Additionally, the department collaborated with the company’s labor union to conduct face-to-face discussions with frontline workers, addressing their work-related stress and mental health needs. The lively sessions saw active participation, deepening employees’ understanding of occupational health and sparking greater reflection on mental well-being.

Action to Protect Health, Responsibility to Fulfill Commitments

The company has always adhered to its core philosophy that "employee safety and health come above all else." Through practical and impactful initiatives during this awareness week, it demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and proactive commitment to occupational health management.

Moving forward, SOE will continue to innovate in occupational health management, leverage technology, and enhance mental health services for workers. By creating a safer and healthier work environment, it aims to lay a solid foundation for high-quality corporate development.
