Government-enterprise collaboration supports employee well-being: CIMC SOE young employees moved into talent apartments
2025-03-03

At 10:18 AM on March 2, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE") held a relocation ceremony for newly hired university graduates moving into talent apartments. Xu Ling, Director of the Company Office, and Shao Hongzhao, Deputy Director of the General Administration Department, along with more than 20 young employees, gathered at the Qidong Talent Apartments to witness this heartwarming moment.

To help new employees quickly integrate into Qidong and establish roots in the company, the Company Office has been working closely with the Qidong municipal government since December 2024. After two months of efforts, the talent apartment initiative was successfully implemented. Our company addressed details such as safety management and cost-sharing in shared accommodations, overseeing housing allocation, contract signing, and subsidy distribution. Ultimately, an innovative solution of "government discounts + company subsidies" was achieved. In addition to the government’s rental discounts, the company covered the majority of the rent, providing substantial housing support and significantly alleviating the financial burden on young employees.

At the ceremony, Director Xu and Deputy Director Shao delivered speeches, stating, "The company has always regarded talent as its most valuable asset. Retaining talent requires more than just slogans; it demands addressing their practical needs. From career planning to life security, the company aims to make every employee feel the 'CIMC warmth' through concrete actions. We also hope that everyone will embark on a new chapter of their lives in this new environment!"

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the two leaders presented thoughtful and practical relocation gifts to the university graduate representatives, symbolizing the company’s best wishes for their future lives and growth in their new surroundings.

After group photos, the leaders and graduates toured the apartments. The spacious and bright two-bedroom, one-living-room units are equipped with a fully functional kitchen and bathroom, as well as appliances such as central air conditioning, refrigerators, and washing machines, fully meeting daily living needs. The building also features shared amenities like a gym and basketball court, providing a comprehensive living environment. During the tour, the leaders engaged in warm conversations with the graduates, encouraging them to work and live happily in their new homes. Wang Yuxuan, a 2024 graduate, shared, "From onboarding training to housing support, the company has not only planned our career paths but also resolved our practical concerns. Thank you to General Manager Gao Wenbao and all the company leaders for their care, as well as the government for its thoughtful policies tailored to our needs!"

CIMC SOE has always adhered to the core human resources philosophy of "people-oriented, common cause" integrating it into every aspect of talent management. The successful implementation of the talent apartment project is a vivid reflection of this philosophy. Moving forward, our company will continue to deepen employee care mechanisms, actively explore more innovative initiatives to benefit employees, and support them in achieving both professional success and personal fulfillment!
