CIMC SOE successfully passed Re-evaluation for Grade I, Class I Steel Ship Production Qualification

On February 24, 2025, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology organized an on-site re-evaluation meeting for the "Production Conditions of Grade I, Class I Steel Ship Manufacturers" at the West Yard of Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE" or "the Company"). The meeting established a re-evaluation expert panel, which conducted the assessment in accordance with the Basic Requirements and Evaluation Methods for Ship Production Enterprises (CB/T 3000-2019) and the Notice on the Release of the Re-evaluation Guidelines for Ship Production Enterprises in Jiangsu Province (Su Defense Science and Technology [2012] No. 108).



Following the agenda, the meeting began with a presentation by CIMC SOE on its developments since the last evaluation. The expert panel then conducted a comprehensive assessment through on-site inspections, reports, document reviews, and Q&A sessions, evaluating the Company across nine aspects, including general requirements, construction technical capabilities, technological innovation, product quality, and personnel qualifications. After thorough discussions, the panel unanimously concluded that CIMC SOE has achieved remarkable results in production and operations over the past three years. The Company demonstrated well-organized production, safety, and quality management systems, with all production conditions meeting the requirements of the Basic Requirements and Evaluation Methods for Ship Production Enterprises (CB/T 3000-2019) for Grade I, Class I steel ship manufacturers. The panel approved CIMC SOE’s re-evaluation for the Grade I, Class I steel ship production qualification.



The successful re-evaluation not only serves as strong evidence of CIMC SOE’s long-standing commitment to high standards and strict requirements but also further solidifies the Company’s leading position in the shipbuilding industry. This achievement will significantly enhance the Company’s market competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for expanding into broader market opportunities. It also motivates all employees to continue striving for excellence.

Looking ahead, CIMC SOE will use this re-evaluation as an opportunity to further deepen technological innovation, optimize management processes, and improve product quality and service capabilities.
