On September 22, CIMC Day — a special holiday for all CIMC people — the finals of the 2026 "SOE Voice" Singing Competition were successfully held. Contestants expressed their feelings through song and gathered strength through music, presenting a spectacular audio-visual feast to celebrate CIMC Day and showcase the youthful spirit of SOE employees.
The finals specially invited Shi Huangjie, Deputy Director of the Qidong Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, to serve as a professional judge and provide professional comments and guidance to the contestants. A leadership judging panel was formed by Su Fei, Deputy General Manager of the Company; Na Xiaobin, Director of the Quality Assurance Department and Deputy General Manager of Jining New Energy Shipbuilding; Xu Ling, Director of the General Office; and Zhu Haijian, Deputy Director of the Finance Department. Together with the on-site audience judging panel, they scored the contestants' performances comprehensively from multiple dimensions, including vocal timbre and singing skills, emotional expression, stage presence, and the positive energy theme of the songs.
The "SOE Voice" Singing Competition officially kicked off in late August. Contestants came from various functional departments, business positions, and labor cooperation partners of the Company, fully demonstrating a corporate culture of active participation and vitality. After layers of screening and fierce competition in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, eight outstanding contestants stood out from numerous participating employees and successfully advanced to the finals: Hou Jiale from the Quality Assurance Department, Wang Yuxuan from the Cost Management Department, Lu An from the HSE & Security Department, Sun Mengxin from the Ship Marketing Department, Kuang Gaosheng from Nantong Gelin Marine Co., Ltd., Meng Fanjie from Jiangsu Rongqing Offshore Equipment Co., Ltd., Qiu Jinbo from the Offshore Project Management Department, and Zhang Xu from the Ship Design Department.

The finals officially began with all finalists singing "The Song of CIMC" in unison. The uplifting and familiar melody resounded throughout the venue. All personnel stood and sang together, each word powerful and each line heartfelt, carrying the original aspiration and faith of CIMC people. Every melody embodied a sense of team belonging and collective honor, fully displaying the spiritual foundation of CIMC people moving forward together in pursuit of dreams.

Subsequently, the top 8 contestants took the stage one by one and sang with passion, presenting diverse musical styles. There were tender and graceful classic songs, warm and healing, touching the heart; there were also passionate and inspiring anthems, powerful and igniting the whole venue. Contestants conveyed emotions through their voices and gathered strength through song, expressing love and interpreting perseverance with sincere performances. They fully demonstrated the versatile youthful style and enterprising spirit of SOE employees. Waves of applause and cheers continued throughout.
At the same time, to innovate the competition format and enhance its professionalism, the finals adopted a multi-dimensional comprehensive scoring system: professional judge Director Shi and four leaders accounted for 60%, the audience judging panel for 30%, and AI intelligent scoring for 10%.

After the contestants finished singing, Director Shi was specially invited to provide dedicated comments on the overall performance of the contestants. He fully affirmed the contestants' solid singing foundation, full stage presence, and sincere emotional expression. At the same time, combining professional vocal knowledge, he provided detailed guidance one by one from aspects such as singing techniques, rhythm control, emotional rendering, and stage presence, offering targeted suggestions for different contestants' singing styles. His professional and detailed comments benefited both the contestants and the audience greatly.

Previously, the Company's official WeChat public account specially opened an online voting channel for the "Best Popularity Award," launching a popularity selection activity for all employees. All employees responded with great enthusiasm, actively participated, and eagerly shared to support their favorites. The voting accumulated over 4,000 participations, continuously raising the event's popularity and creating a strong atmosphere of all staff enjoying together and celebrating CIMC Day together. After fierce online competition, Zhang Xu from the Ship Design Department and Meng Fanjie from Jiangsu Rongqing Offshore Equipment Co., Ltd. won the "Best Popularity Award" with outstanding results of 1,339 votes and 1,177 votes, respectively, thanks to their high popularity.

After intense on-site competition and multi-dimensional comprehensive judging, the awards of the competition were announced one by one: Sun Mengxin from the Ship Marketing Department won the championship, Zhang Xu from the Ship Design Department won the runner-up, Lu An from the HSE & Security Department won the second runner-up, and Hou Jiale from the Quality Assurance Department, Wang Yuxuan from the Cost Management Department, Kuang Gaosheng from Nantong Gelin Marine Co., Ltd., Meng Fanjie from Jiangsu Rongqing Offshore Equipment Co., Ltd., and Qiu Jinbo from the Offshore Project Management Department won the Excellence Award.
