Recently, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE") celebrated the steel-cutting commencement for the first 9,000m³ LNG tank (Project T305) built for South Korea's SUNBO Company. The ceremony was held in the East Zone cutting bay, attended by representatives from shipowner H-LINE, shipyard Hanjin Heavy Industries, classification society KR, client SUNBO, and the CIMC SOE team, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their collaboration.

The 9,000m³ LNG tanks, configured as two tanks per vessel, are independent Type C, semi-refrigerated/semi-pressurized tanks. Upon completion, they will be installed on 18,000m³ LNG bunker vessels. Currently, all preparatory work for the project is progressing smoothly according to plan, enabling continuous production following the steel-cutting commencement.
SUNBO Company is a long-standing key partner of CIMC SOE, with a deep and solid foundation of friendly cooperation in the tank sector.
