Spring Festival greetings warm hearts, safety barrier further strengthened

On February 13, at the start of the Spring Festival holiday, Su Fei, Deputy General Manager of Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE"), Chairman of the Labor Union, and Director of the Company Safety Committee, entrusted by General Manager Gao Wenbao, led a team to frontline positions. They extended sincere greetings to employees who remained at their posts during the holiday and re-emphasized and redeployed safety production work for the Spring Festival period.

Mr. Su's team first arrived at the East Plant security gate. They inquired in detail about the holiday shift scheduling from the security personnel on duty, carefully reviewed entry and exit logs, and reminded them that emergency response procedures must be assigned to specific individuals. While handing out New Year gift packages to the employees, he thanked them for their silent dedication, for "sacrificing family reunions to uphold responsibilities." He pointed out that the holiday period is often a time when safety risks are prone to occur, and all departments must implement safety regulations in every single process and detail.

Subsequently, Mr. Su proceeded to the maintenance site of the Engineering Support Department, where employees were conducting pre-holiday equipment upkeep. He stopped to inquire about the work progress, repeatedly reminding them about electrical safety and urging everyone to prioritize their own safety. The employees on site expressed that they would strictly adhere to procedures and live up to expectations.

As open ports, the East and West Zone terminals are core areas for holiday safety control. On that day, vessel S1084 had just successfully returned from completing its sea trial mission, and on-site employees were orderly unloading sea trial materials. Mr. Su extended New Year blessings and gift packages to the on-duty employees, including those participating in the unloading, acknowledging their spirit of responsibility in remaining at their posts and performing duties efficiently during the holiday.

Given the complexity of personnel movement in open areas and the significant pressure of safety prevention and control, Mr. Su explicitly required relevant departments to consistently adhere to the principle that "being on holiday does not mean letting go," ensuring that responsibility implementation does not slacken. He stressed the need to ensure complete procedures for vessel berthing and personnel entry/exit, maintain a "zero tolerance" attitude towards illegal activities such as smuggling and stowaways, and strictly guard the safety red line. Furthermore, he instructed the HSE Department and security personnel to increase the frequency of patrols in key areas, ensuring no blind spots are left and no hazards are overlooked, thus guaranteeing safe and orderly terminal operations during the holiday.

Mr. Su's final stop was the employee canteen, where he extended greetings and inspected the food preparation and logistical support. He affirmed the canteen's vital role in providing meals for on-duty employees during the holiday and placed special emphasis on food safety and gas usage regulations. He required operators to be proficient in emergency procedures such as valve shut-off and fire extinguishing, resolutely preventing safety accidents like gas leaks and fires.

This pre-Spring Festival visit and inspection comprehensively covered key links including frontline production, safety duty, and logistical support. It conveyed the company's care and regard for employees staying at their posts through concrete actions, while further tightening the focus on holiday safety and service assurance. All on-duty personnel expressed that they would transform the company's care into motivation for work, fulfill their duties with full energy, strictly adhere to safety regulations, strengthen the defense line, and safeguard the peaceful New Year at the plant and the orderly progress of all work through solid action.

As the year turns and a new chapter unfolds, on the occasion of the upcoming Spring Festival, CIMC SOE sincerely wishes all colleagues the vigor of the dragon and horse, and success in all endeavors. May everyone's career flourish and life be happy and fulfilling in the new year, as we stand shoulder to shoulder with the company and jointly write a new chapter of high-quality development!
