Affected by the COVID-19, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore ＆ Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE") established the epidemic prevention and control leading group and seven professional working groups, actively formulate the epidemic prevention and control plan, prepare epidemic prevention materials and other measures, was officially approved by the government to resume work on February 14.

As one of the global leaders in the design and manufacturing of small to medium-sized liquefied gas vessels, liquid tanks and Offshore engineering modules, CIMC SOE was also inevitably affected after the outbreak of the epidemic. In the face of cancellation of flights, temporary suspension of visas, and inability to conduct face-to-face negotiations, many foreign customers are wait-and-see and skeptical about China's economic situation and offshore engineering enterprises. CIMC SOE faced and overcome difficulties, maintained active communication with customers through the use of remote conferences and telephone conferences. With a full working attitude, a high degree of professionalism, CIMC SOE found out the difficulties of the project, cleared the technical difficulties of the project, and finally dispelled the customer's concerns. In the difficult situation, CIMC SOE won two LNG fuel tank orders and achieved exciting results.

It is reported that these two LNG fuel tank orders, one has enabled CIMC SOE to open up new customers, and the other has enabled CIMC SOE to enter the emerging market of luxury cruise ship fuel tanks. The total amount of the two orders exceeded 160 million yuan. The acquisition of these orders has further strengthened the industry position of CIMC SOE in the LNG fuel tank market.
