August 4, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE") successfully delivered two 2,000m³ LNG fuel tanks at its Qidong production base East Wharf.
The delivered LNG fuel tanks are the third set out of six in the 2,000m³ series. These tanks will be utilized in the construction of 7,000 PCTC dual-fuel car carriers by Longkou CIMC Raffles Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC Raffles"). The total length of the liquid tanks is approximately 42 meters, and they are classed by Lloyd's Register (LR).
It is understood that CIMC Raffles and CIMC SOE respectively belong to the offshore engineering and energy & chemical sectors under the CIMC Group. Under the leadership of CIMC Group, the two companies have collaborated closely. We shared resources and overcome challenges, such as the overall layout and structural strength design of the LNG tanks and dual-fuel transport vessels. This project has become another successful example of collaborative cooperation between sister companies within the CIMC Group.
In the future, CIMC SOE will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with other companies within the CIMC Group. It will continue to rely on advanced design technology, professional construction and project management capabilities, and outstanding delivery quality to provide the market with tank products of higher technical level and superior quality.
