On November 13, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co.,LTD.(hereinafter referred to as “CIMC SOE”) successfully delivered 5500 square liquid ammonia carrier tank(T135), consisting of two 2750 square liquid ammonia tanks and one 40 square liquid ammonia deck tank.The successful delivery of this project marks another breakthrough for CIMC SOE under new materials and new processes.

“Do not experience wind and rain, how to see the rainbow”,in the early stage of project implementation, the project was affected by many factors such as material supply, the project team overcame difficulties, and tried to overcome the limited impact of the workshop site in the liquid tank closing stage; in the large closing and the whole tank thick heat stress relief stage coincides with high temperature and heavy rain weather, the on-site production team is not afraid to bear hardships to catch up with the progress; some of the materials arrived late in the subsequent equipment and valve installation stage, the project team timely adjusted the construction process. In the whole process, what impressed the project manager most was that the anti-deformation and whole tank heating preliminary planning and discussion were made for many rounds, and all the efforts in order to ensure the quality of product and deliver it on time.

Since the start of the project, the project team has made concerted efforts to work overtime to seize the time limit and ensure the quality and quantity of deliver, which has been praised and recognized by shipowners. At the delivery site, Lei Xiaogang, general manager of investment department of Nanjing Shenghang shipping Co.,LTD.came to take a photo with CIMC SOE project team, and specially customized the project cooperation cake from Shanghai to thank CIMC SOE project team for their hard work in the entire production and construction process.

In the site office, general manager Lei Xiaogang, project manager Yu Shigang, minister of structure department Chen Xinwen and assistant minister of project department Zhou Peng cut the cake for the project management team and workers. Mr. Lei said that the project has been successfully delivered from the beginning to the target of cooperation, thanks to the hard work of all project team members, they actively solved the difficulties and ensured that the products were successfully completed according to the original plan finally. Both parties are very happy in the whole cooperation process, our company will have a new investment plan next year, the company’s liquid tank products are preferred to be built in CIMC SOE, and we look forward to cooperating with you again.
