The two sets of VOC modules under construction this time  cover two main modules, 20 other modules and skids, and will  be installed on two shuttle tankers in the future. Prior to this,   CIMC SOE has successfully delivered 6 sets of modules of this type to Wärtsilä. Compared to previous projects, CIMC SOE has also undertaken the detailed design of the modules for the first time, and the cooperation between the two parties has been   further deepened. At the same time, the company's business    scope has also been further expanded. Another close cooperation is the customer's best recognition of the previously delivered projects and the greatest trust in CIMC SOE.

Wärtsilä’s VOC system is the world’s first, the full name of  which is called Volatile Organic Compound Recovery System. It is a pioneering technology for the manufacture of liquefied natural gas and the recovery of volatile organic compound     fuels. The system recovers the gas evaporated from the oil  tank , Mixed with LNG to be used as ship fuel, thereby reducing ship fueling requirements. The system can save     more than 3,000 tons of fuel per ship per year, and compared with traditional solutions, carbon dioxide equivalent emissions can be reduced by up to 40%, which has significant environmental benefits.
