On August 21, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore ＆ Engineering Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "CIMC SOE") successfully delivered two sets of 900m³ LPG fuel tanks and two sets of high-pressure skids at the Qidong production base.

The two sets of LPG fuel tanks and high-pressure skids delivered this time will be used in BW's LPG dual-fuel retrofit project. It is the world's first dual-fuel retrofit project using LPG as the main engine clean fuel—the first two sets in the VLGC series . It is reported that using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel will greatly reduce pollutant emissions, reducing carbon dioxide by about 10% and particulate matter by about 90%.

Following the small peak in shipments of offshore products in early July, CIMC SOE will usher in a wave of delivery and shipment again at the end of August and early September. It is reported that subsequent projects such as various types of LNG fuel tanks and high and low pressure skids are in the final stage of the project and will be shipped one after another.
